Pastura, New Mexico

Pastura named for grazing land nineteen miles SW of Santa Rosa on the SP RR. Founded in 1901 by employes of the railroad and the Pastura Trading Co., owned by the Charles Ilfeld Co., A Post office has been authorized since 1903.
